There’s a BAT CAVE in Boracay which shelters the giant fruit bats. You can be accompanied by the locals in this area for a certain fee or tip. The cave is on the north-western end of the island, the guide will then take you on a short hike through the forest to the mouth of the cave which drops down at a very steep angle. The mouth of the cave has large boulders and is extremely difficult to enter and walk through. The air inside the cave is very warm and humid, so it’s very difficult to breathe. You have to be cautious if you’re going to visit this place because there is no visible path, no handrail and the stone are extremely slippery with slime.
